Un vecino de Bilbo de 58 años, integrante de un grupo de montañeros, ha fallecido «por causas naturales» en torno al mediodía de este sábado en la zona de Cuetu la Concilla, entre los valles de Polaciones y Cabuérniga, en el límite noroccidental del parque natural de Saja-Besaya.
El Centro de Atención a Emergencias 112 ha movilizado para atender el suceso a técnicos de Protección Civil, bomberos del 112, Guardia Civil y el médico del helicóptero del Gobierno de Cantabria, que no se ha podido desplazar a la zona por meteorología adversa, ha informado el Ejecutivo cántabro.
Los efectivos solo han podido confirmar la muerte del montañero y han trasladado el cuerpo a una zona accesible para vehículos donde ha quedado bajo la custodia de la Guardia Civil.
